Wireplay MUD2 Sorcerer Wars

In a Sorcerer War, players enter the game with a new novice persona (with zero points) and are given 12,800 points AND the ability to use magic by a magical sorcerisation process ('You have to be a wizard before you can do that!'). The participants are then thrown into The Land where their task is to stay alive, basically, by killing everyone else.

Players must survive the entire war to win, but it is also important to kill the other players as a player's score determines their final position should they survive. Sometimes extra magical goodies are thrown in for fun, and sometimes there are prizes for the top survivors!
