As we rejoin our hero, Cat the wizard has a lot of explaining to do!

"I'm going to have to tell them everything; there's no way around it..."

"How the hell did this happen Cat!" Maniac asked.

Cat stood up and turned to me. "I'm sorry, Rocko, I lied to you before. Long ago, a planet now called Earth, was similar to this one. It had magic, and monsters. However it was a lot bigger then yours, and had many more people on it. It had one long reset that never ended, and when someone died, it was for good. The people of this world slowly started to turn their backs on magic, and forgot how to use it. The few wizards who populated the planet got together, and decided to leave that world, and let it die off, as they were sure that it would. They made a new planet, this one. They had never done this before; even they did not know how the Earth was created, and so they created this world, Mud. They couldn't manage one long time frame, so instead they had short ones. The size of the world was decreased tremendously also. These wizards managed to create the world over the short time they had left, but they were old, and passed away. They have left journals, and that is how the wizards and witches now know of the story. We thought it was time, for this world to grow in size, to that of the first.. We wanted to bring in the one long reset, we wanted the world to become stable and grow. But we calculated wrong. Even combined we didn't have enough power. A rip in space occurred, and a passage to the first world was formed. A few of the mobiles got through before we could close it. In doing so everything else in the world fell apart, every tree, every blade of grass, gone. Thankfully the journals of the first wizards are detailed, and we can recreate the world as it was. It will take time, but it can be done. We also managed to save all the other mobiles left on the planet, by putting them in suspended animation as we did with you. However, the world can not be completely restored, unless the mobiles now on Earth are killed, which will send them back here. If they are not, the world will not become restored properly, and it will be destroyed, beyond repair. The other wizzes have formed a link witch can not be broken. The world will attempt to be restored in 24 hours, which is the same as one day or cycle on earth, with or without those mobiles back here. I have limited power left. I can only send you to Earth, roughly where they are. It is up to you to kill them, and remember, while you're over there you will be under their rules, which means if you die, you will stay dead, permanently."

Cat turned to me. "Rocko, I am sorry to have lied to you before, we needed you to stay here. We wanted you to examine the New World when we had changed it, to see if we had left anything out. There is no more time, you must go now."

"There is nothing more they need to know, a few magical gestures, 3, 2, 1, shazam, their gone. Arrggh. Pain. Not much power left, not much time."

I'm not sure I took in all of what Cat just said, but I understood what had to be done. Before I could say anything else, Cat made some magical gestures, and I was knocked out. It felt a bit like what happens between resets, but it lasted longer. I fell hard, on a hard wooden floor. A brief spell of pain went through my body, but I shook it off. I looked around to see everyone else appearing also. Cora landed on a large old comfy sofa, while others landed as I did, hard on the floor. Just as I got up, Zordell suddenly appeared in the air above me, and landed on top of me, knocking me back to the floor. Looking around she said "hiya Rocko, thanks for the soft landing hun" and then she gave me a hand up.

"My friends, we have been given a wondrous gift. The chance to take over the Old World, as it was once done so by our ancestors long ago. We have been given this chance, let us not waste it. What have you found out about this world now?"

"Their weakness is fear, let us use it wisely" said the Man, "for example, you yourself will breath fear into them. Stories of vampires are used even today to scare little children."

"We can not rush into anything" the Ape leader responded "my army is not here, and neither are the dwarfs. The people of this world have armies vastly out numbering us, they have a new magic, called technology, which can be used more effectively then a simple blind spell."

"We must take things slowly. We have to build up our army, but first, we must implant the seed of fear among then. They shall turn on one another, and they may even destroy themselves. We shall come in, and clean up the mess. It is time to split up. You old man, take the two skeletons, make a dash through the towns and cities of this world, kill a few people, and spread havoc. Once you have done so, go into hiding and return here. You three, ape, the eagle, and giant, focus on the schools, and the children. By attacking their young, we are hitting them at the heart. I shall take the Wyvern, and the King and Queen dwarfs, we shall investigate the mines and graveyards, and find out if there are any of our ancestors, still populating this world, hidden away. Now go!"

It is a shame the dragon did not stay. Our army would be the most powerful in the world, with him as our weapon. But still, we once ruled this world many years ago, and we can do so again.

"Is this really the Old World? If it is, the humans have changed it incredibly. I'm sure there used to be more forest there, but it was so long ago. What's that I smell, no, I can't be, can it?"

"I hope somebody has a plan," said Jaster leaning up against a wall.
"Sure, we go out there, we kill them, we go home," replied Maniac relaxing on a worn out sofa.
Rocko returned and said "looks like we're in an abandoned house, there's loads of clothes been left upstairs, we should get changed so we don't stand out here."
"Then what, sit around here and wait for them to come to us? I don't think so!" said Cora.
Seamus returned with a rolled up piece of paper in his hand. "I've found what looks to be a map of the local area," and he laid it out on the table. Everyone but Joey circled around it.
Wdi moved over to the window. He took his sleeve and cleaned the window so he could look out, and he surveyed the surrounding area. He came back to the map and declared, "I'm not sure, but I think we're here."
"Right then" said Zordell "there's nine of us, lets split into three groups of three, and search, Cat said we'll land near them, the sooner we start looking, the sooner we find them, and kill them."
"And the sooner we could die as well," Foz said, "remember what Cat said. If we die here, were dead permanently."
"If we don't kill them though, then there'll be no world for us to go back to at all," Joey said as he walked over to table with his knife in his hand. "Myself, Foz and Cora will travel to south of here and search this populated area. Rocko Zordell and Seamus will search the northern area; it appears to be deserted, the perfect place for them to hide out. Maniac, Wdi and Jaster, you guys will search though here, the centre of this town, but be careful not to draw attention to yourselves. Rocko, you come from this world, what can we all expect?"
"People," Rocko said simply. "Lots of people, in the town centre that is. This looks like a small town, but there must be twenty thousand living here at least. This world has laws unlike anything you know of, just don't kill anyone, or take anything, in fact don't DO anything unless you see any of the mobiles, and above all, don't talk to anyone, even the women Wdi."
"Ok, let's go," Joey said.
